Friends of Blessed Trinity 2024

The Friend of Blessed Trinity Award is an opportunity to recognize individuals who have shared outstanding service to Blessed Trinity through their volunteer activities.  They give of themselves, their time and many talents, to support our students and families. Our BT community is better able to live our mission thanks to their efforts. It is our pleasure to award the Friend of Blessed Trinity this year to the following supporters.

Kathy Bartish, Tanya Bischof, and Felix & Anna Nguyen.

This year, the Friend of Blessed Trinity award recognizes four individuals whose contributions span across the entirety of BT life: classrooms, field trips, lunchrooms, fundraising events, social gatherings, open houses, and numerous gyms. Collectively, their dedication to our school totals over 55 years of service. While their names may not be widely known, their impact in making Blessed Trinity a better place is unmistakable.

Kathy Bartish – Kathy holds a special place among our original Blessed Trinity parents, with all three of her children having attended Assumption and Blessed Trinity. Starting in 1995, Kathy Bartish dedicated 30 years as a classroom aide at the Penn Campus, leaving an indelible mark on our school community. Upon her retirement, Kathy seamlessly transitioned into a role as one of our most invaluable tutors and student support resources. Each week, she devotes her time to working closely with our youngest learners, providing them with the additional time and practice they need to master foundational skills. Furthermore, Kathy selflessly continues to support our teachers, generously giving of her time to benefit the entire community. We are delighted to express our gratitude and extend our heartfelt recognition to Kathy for her tireless efforts in setting our Penn Campus Tigers on a trajectory toward success.

Felix and Anna Nguyen – Felix and Anna are familiar faces to current BT families, consistently present at nearly every BT event. Last year alone, they demonstrated their commitment by coaching three different BT basketball teams in a single season. Whether it’s coaching numerous teams or contributing to the planning and execution of our Galas and Snoballs, their dedication to the BT family shines through. When not at the forefront of an activity, they can often be spotted with their three children, Payton ’24, Phoebe ’27, and future Tiger Presley, enthusiastically cheering on their peers. Their tireless efforts contribute significantly to the growth and success of our Tigers, and for that, we are immensely grateful.

Tanya Bischof – For 17 years, Tanya has generously shared her time and talents as a dedicated parent volunteer at Blessed Trinity. Each year, she plays a vital role in welcoming new families and ensuring a smooth start to the academic year at our Family Social events. As our community has evolved, Tanya has been a dependable source of support, offering valuable insights to help us refine and expand our initiatives. Whether it’s stepping up to fill volunteer shifts or graciously taking on remaining tasks, her unwavering commitment sets a remarkable example for others. Tanya’s leadership has inspired fellow parent volunteers within her children’s classes. Alongside her husband Alan, they are proud parents to four, soon-to-be five graduates: Grant, Keegan, Amanda, Lydia, and Jacob, who will be graduating in a couple of weeks. Collectively, their family has been part of the Blessed Trinity community for 25 consecutive years. We are profoundly grateful for their enduring dedication and the positive impact they continue to make within our community and beyond.
