| To keep us all safe, our singing voices have taken an intermission this year. Ms. Abdenur has used this opportunity to introduce both the glockenspiels and pianika to the 4th and 5th graders.
In preparing these Christmas songs, they learned keyboarding, performing duets, and correcting peer pitches and rhythms. Some students came in with experience playing a keyboard while others did not. We can say with confidence none had previous experience with a pianica! All students grew in skill and Christmas spirit. A special thanks to Mrs. Kalbfell and Mrs. Elfering for their handiwork, which allowed us to safely use these instruments. We know you’ll enjoy these songs one final time to close out the season. Para mantenernos a salvo, nuestro coro de voces ha tenido un descanso este año. La Sra. Abdenur ha aprovechado esta oportunidad para presentar a nuestros alumnos de 4º y 5º grado, el xilófono (glockenspiel) y la melódica.
Algunos estudiantes ya tenían experiencia tocando algún instrumento musical, mientras que otros no. ¡Podemos decir con confianza que ninguno tenía experiencia previa con una melódica! Todos los estudiantes crecieron en habilidad y espíritu navideño. Un agradecimiento especial a la Sra. Kalbfell y a la Sra.
