We’ve taken the traditional Marathon for Catholic Schools and added service projects to it. We still collect pledges from our friends and families, we also hold a competition among our three supporting parishes, Assumption, St Peter’s and St Richard’s to see which can collect the most pledges. Their incentive – guardianship of our BT Tiger (and bragging rights!) for the next year.

Our Serv-a-Thon Day is a full day of activity for our entire community. Each classroom participates in its own service project. Examples include moving and organizing items for the St Peter’s Fall Festival, cleaning the cemetery at Assumption, cleaning the church – dusting pews, organizing devotionals, and  picking up trash in the neighborhood. Each student also participates in a school wide service project where we make lunches for the hungry in our community.

Other elements of our Serv-a-Thon Day include walking the Tiger Trail (rain or shine!), meeting buddies for the first time (each student is paired with a student from another grade each year), watching our faculty in a fun competition and a prayer service.

Our fundraising goal for 2017-18 is $35,000!
